Ante Up All Stars go 11-0 and Undefeated for the Summer on the East Coast (Continued)

Peter Morano
Peter Morano scores the game winning goal

In a thrilling over-time victory, Ante Up beats the Connecticut Bulls 7-6 in its final game at the Long Island Classic and completes a perfect 5-0 record for the tournament. Peter Morano beat his man to score the over-time winner.  One week later, Ante Up won the Beast of the East tournament at the University of Massachusetts.

Ante Up’s team was anchored by its relentless defense, which will only graduate two of its six key members. Garrett Van Schaick turned down a fifty percent athletic scholarship at Albany (D1) to play at division 3 powerhouse Ohio Wesleyan. Van Schaick has played for Ante Up for the last three years and is the most physical player ever to come through the program. Evan Mulcrone will play for The Ohio State University (D1), Coach Duffy’s and DeSimone’s alma mater, and reports to fall ball in September. Ante Up will be back in action to defend its reigning two year title at the New York, Turkey Shootout.
